Things have not been going well lately in general. We have had horrible participation from the clan as a whole on all of our servers. The only people that have been of any help to me or the clan lately are CorKy, Gweedo, Hitman 4 Jebus, and Cancer. I am not talking about donations, our account balance is actually higher than it has been for a while, I am talking about participation in general.

I have spent countless hours in the last few months rewritting the Knife Fight script, writting the Buy script, writting the Skins script, and rewritting the Gun Game script. I have spent hours upon hours setting up the ZE and JB servers, and working out the bugs. I thought that it would be nice to set up these servers for the people that were interested in those mods, and that by setting them up we might be able to draw some new players to our servers. However, all of this has failed.

We have no participation at all from the clan. You are not just a member of the clan to wear a stupid tag and be able to donate for admin. You are supposed to be proud of the clan and our servers, you are supposed to help populate our servers by playing on them, especially when no one else is playing. I have said a million times in the past that I know that it sucks sitting on an empty server or playing against bots, however this is how you will draw someone to connect. It just seems like no one gives a shit anymore, and I am questioning why I bother wasting my time doing all the things that I do for [Legion]. Population overall for Counter-Strike: Source has dropped across the board. Less people are playing the game, which means it is now more important than ever to focus on attracting new players.

I understand those of you that are busy with things in real life, however I am also always busy with things in real life. I work all week, I take classes, I spend time with my fiancee, and yet I am still able to find time to code and play on the servers. If you are at the point where you truly do not have the time to show up, then please let me know, so that you can be removed from the clan. I will not be upset with you, I know that real life is much more important than a game, however if you can never be here then you are really of no use to the clan or the servers.

I am most upset with the people I see playing on other servers with mods that we have on our servers. I see our GG server empty, then see 2 or 3 clan members all playing together on another GG server. When I ask why they are playing over there I am almost always told that it was because no one was playing on our GG server, and that they were just waiting for people to join. I am tired of this excuse, it is your responsibility to help attract a population, if you don't give a shit enough about our clan or servers to play on them when no one is on and attract other players then please get the fuck out of my clan. How fucking lazy can you be that you cannot sit there for 5 minutes until people begin to join? This is totally pathetic, and is not an acceptable excuse. After all the work I have put into everything I am not going to see our clan and servers destroyed by our own clan members.

Over the course of the next week I expect about half our our active members to be asked to remove the tag. Those that are asked to leave the clan will also lose their admin. I would rather refocus our efforts with a smaller group of dedicated people than a larger group of people who couldn't give a shit about anything. This is supposed to be fun, and it is not fun for me at all constantly wasting my time so that no one can give a shit. Another issue is seeing about a third of our members going tagless when they are not playing on our server. If you do not want to wear our tag, then please leave the clan. I do not ask much of anyone at all, and I think I do more work on our servers than the vast majority of people that manage a server. What I feel I see in return is nothing but ingratitude, complaints, and a complete lack of pride or interest in the clan or the servers as a whole.

Hopefully everyone can pull things together, because the way they are going really sucks, and if things keep up this way they will only end badly for everyone who actually cares about the clan and the servers.

Tonight a few of us started playing on the GG server and soon we had around 10 people playing. We ended up having between 8-12 people on for the 3 hours that I played. I am sorry if I sound like an asshole, but this is possible every night if people in the clan make an effort.

Saw and tried to hop in last night, but persistent wait on the skins kinda turned me off. Just going to let it sit while I run some errands today, RE: my post in gg suggestion forums.

But your completly right, I spend maybe 5 min playing bots, set to a popular map, and just about always get people joining. It's just people being lazy and not wanting to wait. Which I can admit I've felt/done before, but we should be making a better effort.

Be looking for me weeknights round 4-6 (free from wife time), and just about all day friday. Weekends are up for grabs, depending on what life demands of me.

See a few years ago, we would be laughing about this because even during the day, all or most of the people on the server were legion. we had dedicated older members who actually believed in having fun with other people on the server. now, and im not criticizing recruiters, but it seems like more immature kids and ragers are being recruited who basically from what I see are in at least 3 different clans and dont give a shit about any of them. i know i dont have any place to say it because i really dont play anymore but this clan was something fun for a long time and i would hate to see it gone.

There have been times where I've been on the GG server for an hour or two sometimes and no one ever comes in. Now I do see people connect but I guess because of all the downloads (maps, skins, sounds, etc.) they get turned off by it. In a way I'm like fuck it. If you want to play on a server then you'll download the necessary items needed for that server. Before I upgraded my internet I had to wait 10 or 15 mins to download the items and then I got booted cuz of the high ping. Point being is that I do play on the server and I am pretty active compared to a majority. I only played on one other server and thats cuz a few of buddies I know play on there. I absolutely love our server. It has alot of cool abilities you can do (xdisguise, xhealth, xvampire) and the latency is very good. It just sux when I spend 30 mins to an hour or so playing on the server and 1 person comes in and I kill them 5 or 6 times in a row and they leave and I play the bots. I like the server, I like the clan and I have nothing against either. I just wished that more people play or there is more than one bot to go against.

It depends what time of the day you are playing. The server is most likely to draw people from around 3pm-1am EST. During the day most people are at work or at school.

Today we had great population on all of our servers due to the fact that we had a number of clan members playing. All I ask is that everyone make an effort even if it may be boring for a little bit while doing so.

Downloading every single file required to play on our servers takes under 5 minutes. They all download in a compressed format from our web server. This is less time than it takes to download some of the huge ass maps that people play on default servers. I know how long it takes because I regularly download everything myself to check after I add new files.

If you wish to be able to adjust the number of bots playing on the GG server you need to donate for admin. If you do not wish to donate for admin that is fine as well.

Tripwire: It was refreshing to see you make an on-topic, and well articulated response.

The rest of the thread, excluding you me and twizt, was nothing but the nonsense, shittalk and banter that twizt has been talking about in the first place. I stay out of clan membership/drama for two reasons. 1) im not clan command, and 2) I have enough drama in my life, i dont need it on the internet.

That said, I must agree to a certain degree, about some of the current/new ( i'm not here to report to HUAC. or to name names) members. Just this little bear's opinion.
