So i got a damn nice deal on a pre-built. 525 tax included got me 4gb ddr3, 64bit quadcore, raedon hd video and a host of other goodies.

I must admit, vista isn't THAT terrible, though I will still probably install xp instead. anyhow, im back for good now, so I will be seeing everyone around.

Vista is ass. I bought it a long time ago, used it for like 2 days, and went back to XP. Now it sits in a box in the other room.

Win 7 is good, it more or less Vista SP2 in a way. Vista is bounds ahead of Xp now. I have used Vista 64bit for the last 4 years with no problems. Takes some getting use to the file structure as it is a bit different then Xp with its User Account features (Which can be disabled and is the biggest complaint).

Been running Win 7 64bit now since Feb.

I actually really like Vista.
I will admit it had quite a few problems in the begininng, but were almost entirely taken care of in both service packs.

Specifically, I like networking and remote communication much better in Vista than in XP, though XP did have its benefits
