Cancer noticed that the bug that allowed players to retain their previously purchased skills only happened after Knife Fights. After he told me this it took me about 30 seconds to fix the problem, so there will be no more instances of skills carrying over from now on.

Shame, was kinda hoping the skills were meant to carry over, only to be lost upon death, and the bug being losing them. I've noticed a few other things, be getting you a list of possible bugs soon.

Oh and Cancer, way to voice my observation to twizt. Ass Very Happy

When skills would carry over people would become too powerful.

For example, say I purchased xvampire and xdrain the first round and then died but did not have my skills reset. Then say I purchased xreflect, making me have xvampire, xreflect, and xdrain. Say I get into combat with someone and we each shoot each other for 50 health each. My health will end up at 75 instead of 50 due to xvampire, while the other person's health would end up at 25 instead of 50 due to xreflect. So technically this person would die or kill themselves from xreflect in 2 shots.

Another example would be if I purchased xrealism the first round and then died without having my skills reset. Then say I purchased xhealth twice and ended up with 200 health and xrealism. You would have someone running around with 200 health and the ability to shoot guns out of peoples hands.

The reason some skills are more expensive than others is that they provide a greater advantage and are not intended to all be used at once.
