Another option could be to add a "PlayerLevel=" check to the script, enabling some sort of level cap wherein the player would only be able to purchase health up until a predetermined gg level. IMO this is the most diplomatic of solutions, at least those involving keeping the script running.

Thats an awesome idea, that would stop making it purely impossible to gain levels when some one is higher then you... *(cough)*

Twizted: If you are really considering not renewing the server, I would like to ask permission to start a discussion with clan command, as I would be more than happy to take over hosting costs and all the bullshit that comes along with running a server. Legion is my home, my only Home for css, and I will do anything it takes to keep it from going the way of the dodo. I'll contact you through one of our more usual, private methods, in regards to this.

The buy system and skins will remain on the server and not be altered in any way. Yes, a few of you are unhappy with the changes, however the majority of people have responded well to everything overall. The thing is that the people that enjoy something do not post on the forums about how they enjoy it, in fact it is only the people with the random complaint that manage to log onto the forums for the first time in two months and smash out a "this is gay" with their thumbs.
For the people who join and see someone typing "xhealth" or "xnade" twenty times without figuring out what is going on, you are lucky your body just does not forget to breathe and you do not collapse in a heap on the floor.
Lucy, I take offense at you repeatedly hinting at how you either want a Clan Command position, or FTP access, or me to turn my servers over to you if I decide to close them, or how you plan to set up a server exactly like this one if I do decide to close ours. I consider you a friend of mine, however you have been a little weird lately, and it makes me question your motives.
If at some point the servers are shut down, they will be shut down. None of my files will be distributed. No one will have access to the majority of the work I have done over the last 3 years. _________________

Sorry if I've been a bit off kilter recently. On a new med, and its the type that tends to stimulate and excite you. Combine that with the joy of finally having a new pc, and being able to play again to my hearts content (to a degree), perhaps ive been a bit overzealous.
My motives are simple. I love legion GG, and dont ever want to see the server go away. When you mention possible the dissolvement of the server, it freaked me out, and in my hyper cracked out state, I've been a bit obsessive with trying to preserve it.
I get your concerns on my motives, considering that conversation about certain sites. Know that im not trying to betray our friendship, my loyalty to legion and the server, or trying to copy the server dir and distribute at will.
All I really want is to keep my home for css gaming alive. Sorry if I'd made you nervous, and even more so that I've made you question my motives. Were friends beyond the scope of playing a game online, and the hospitality you and yours has shown me builds a loyalty far beyond the confines of an online video game. I hope the damage done isnt perminate. On a side note, your not the first person to mention I've been acting weird. I dont think im going to stick with this particular med, despite the positive effects.
PS: I got that info you wanted. get at me. |
