i agree i think the ability to buy health makes it too hard when there are only a few playing. i like the grenade buy though.

I find it amusing that 3 of the people complaining are on posts 8, 9, and 10. At least when you get pissed off about something you actually are motivated to make a post on the forums, (even if it is under a topic that there is already a topic about, and in the wrong section completely.)

The fact that you tell me that you hate something, or that it is gay, without providing any useful suggestions as to how to correct it, is kind of pointless. At least Hitman 4 Jebus and CorKy had useful input, and after reading it I set the maximum health to 250. There are currently 6 [Legion] members playing, 4 are playing another game, 2 are playing Counter-Strike: Source, none are playing on our server, but this has been the usual for about a month even before I adjusted health.

Last night I began changing the RPG DM server over to Zombie Escape, (a mod I have no interest in, but decided on due to the fact that a number of clan members are constantly playing it.) Today I have decided that that installation will be haulted, and the server will remain closed until expiriation.

I think it finally occured to me today that I have been wasting my time for I don't know how long trying to accomidate everyone and make things interesting here, and all I see in return is whining and bitching and complaining. In the past I have removed countless maps that I like, due to the fact that other people are unhappy with them. Other maps are barely played, regardless of whether or not I like them, due to the fact that other people do not. Scripts that I have liked, like the grenadehit script, have been removed because other people do not like them, and so on and so on.

The Gun Game server will most likely be shut down at some point in the near future. I need to check at which date it is set to expire, and it most likely will not be renewed past then. I have more important things to do in my life then to do then waste my time on these servers any longer, especially with the constant lack of gratitude I see every day, along with the incessant complaining.

i dont have anything to say really... so here i go : potato, mini-putt,hovercraft built of duct tape.

but seriously, i dont see why u guys litteraly do like twiz said... come on forums to QQ and only that. I was told to go to the forms more often and i do. i now give my opinion on alot of things including the new stuff on the serv. i think they run well and its a good addition and all my posts were to try to make it better. Before u guys JUST QQ y dont u try to help legion out a little and say why u dont like it and yea...

This also saddens me since legiongg is basicly the ONLY server i play on exept for SOME deathruns (on occasions and i usually follow cancer), spazm, some jailbreak. when im on css i always check to see how the serv is running and try to be on as often as i can. i would really like it if we could get more legion members playing so we can actually have fun and keep it rolling

I think I speak for a lot of ppl when I say Legion is the ONLY gg server I play. The only time I'm not playing in Legion's server, is when I'm playing a zombie server or L4D.

We all play on the server frequently, its just you cant play the same thing every time or you will get bored of it. So some people play zombie servers, etc to mix it up. That doesnt mean we arent going to play on Legions server.

As for the whole health/nade thing:
To be fair, you asked for people's thoughts, and you're getting them. Some people provide constructive criticism, while others just bitch and whine. Don't take everything so personally though, just take everyones criticism with a grain of salt.

1st: i am on the forums as much as i can, i had like 7 posts 1 month ago and now im over 100 so....i dont know were you saw the 10

2nd thing: my opinion about the health thing is the same as hitman and everything as been told, i saw the thread about it and like hitman my kdr is always around 4.00 still i can buy health. my overall kd passed from 1.90 to 2.03 in less than a week. I didnt say my opinion cauz i thing its pointless to tell it when some1 else told what i think and also when i see most of the ppl seem to like this script. btw twiz i know how much time you give for all the stuff around servers, clan and site. this is greatly appreciated and the intention of my previous post wasnt anything negative about you or what you did. if you think the post was useless and stupid then i'ts up to you but my intention wasnt to complain, i saw a new post with an opinion in it and so i told mine..

3rd thing: im sure i'm not the only member who appreciates everything you do so i hope you know it because you dont seem to.

In an attempt to try and steer this away from a shit talk fest, I have what I hope to be some useful suggestions regarding the buy health option.

I think it tends to be an unfair advantage favoring better players, most of whom (myself included) have the command bound. I like being able to do it, but I recognize the advantage it gives to better players, and to those who actually realize the option is there. Yes, the server tells people how to do it, but this is css after all, and the player base isn't the most....mmmm...lets say, perceptive in the world.

I would be happy to see the option removed, though I know this would ruffle plenty a pantie. Instead, perhaps we could somehow tweak it so the option is available only to the lower performing players, in an attempt to give them a small handicap to keep up with the rest of us. I already see this bringing up a whole new barrage of *mostly* useless complains and flaming.

Another option could be to add a "PlayerLevel=" check to the script, enabling some sort of level cap wherein the player would only be able to purchase health up until a predetermined gg level. IMO this is the most diplomatic of solutions, at least those involving keeping the script running.

I honestly think the best bet is to just remove the damn thing. We did fine without it, sure some people may bitch or cry, but they'll get over it.

Twizted: If you are really considering not renewing the server, I would like to ask permission to start a discussion with clan command, as I would be more than happy to take over hosting costs and all the bullshit that comes along with running a server. Legion is my home, my only Home for css, and I will do anything it takes to keep it from going the way of the dodo. I'll contact you through one of our more usual, private methods, in regards to this.

To the rest of you: STOP TWISTING THE DAMN KNIFE!
