Suggest removing rcon commands to add bots, or at least restricting its usage based on admin levels. We all know there has been a problem child with the add_bot feature in their hands. Just a thought.

I will admit that I add bots sometimes.

But generally, I dont do it to boost my rank (I could admin abuse to do that Wink

)
If I am waiting for people to join, and I am the only one in the server, I will add a bunch of bots until people join. Then I generally kick them once it is at least 3v3 or so.

Well, twizted knows directly what I was talking about here, but my problem is this:

A lot of times I glance in the server tabs, and see nothing but 5-10 bots playing on the server. This really discourages regular people from joining. There is of course the possibility of rank whoring, but if you care about your rank that much, you need something more in your life than CounterStrike.

Also, with the first problem, the reason this happens is that the person who adds all the bots will just quit out the game, without properly disposing of said bots prior to doing so. They also will continue to add bots during play with more than 3 humans, which is just retarded.

Hey, even I add bots at times, usually when its just me and some regular kid, I feel bad just ruining them 20-1 and I know they will leave quickly, so I might add a bot to their team, which will be autokicked once another real player joins.

I am thinking this is more an individual problem to be addressed, rather than a broad banning of bot use, as suggested in my first post.
