Well, well, well. Vista has officially been launched in UK. Any comments from you guys?

Interesting product, but a bit heavy on system resources. Given a couple years time, It should be pretty good. Though Im not so sure how much I will be using it, XP Pro corporate works like a dream on this machine, and all the others here run OsX, which just trumps anything Microsoft.

IMO its a bit early to buy a new operating system. Games and applications will need a year if not two to completely catch up. Not to mention the countless bugs. Microsoft released critical hotfixes within the first hours of the launch. I won't be saving £200 ($400-ish) on a new OS that will bring me down on my knees and steadily kick me in the bollocks.

I agree with Konig, just way too many bugs right now. Also very few video cards support DX10, you will have to pay upwards of $400+ to get a supported card. Even though I have a free upgrade to Vista that came with my laptop, I will probably hold off at least 6 months for it.
