Here are a couple of screenshots of my new map gg_abyss. I will be releasing a beta sometime in the next week.

Wow. You really are into the whole gothic satanic scene aren't you? Aside from the disturbingly death-associated theme, the artwork is brilliant, although the textures look like the wolfenstein map, very pixelized and looks ugly (no offence). 9/10, but maybe work on textures? Cool

By the way, NICE hellhole!

Where can you see pixels? The ceiling and floor? The rest are default textures, except the pit fire. I could make the textures smaller which would reduce pixel visibility, just let me know where. Also keep in mind these are screenshots and the whole thing looks a lot better in game. (Oh and no, I'm not a satanist or a goth or anything, I actually just thought it would be a cool, original map idea.)

Well, it fits the site... :\ Yeah its probs just the shots, make an image too small and it looks pixelised. Anyhoo, it looks very nice. Keep up the good work.

Played on it and it was SWEET. Its actually really ingenious. Spots where people are inevitably going to camp have floors and walls which can be shot out, which has solved the camping problem. Looks perfect. 11/10.

A second version of my gg_abyss map has been released. This version is somewhat smaller than the first and some of the textures have been changed. The areas in the corners have been modified as well. Hopefully this version will be even better.

Looked at it this morning and certainly looks a lot better than gg_abyss_v1.

But theres still gonna be spawn campers and maybe have a crushing ceiling activated when the gates open?

I've released gg_abyss_v2_fixed to correct a missing ladder in gg_abyss_v2, as well as to reduce the damage needed to break the breakable walls.
