Vent Problems

Some may / may not have noticed that when I use Vent and hit the push-to-talk key it will disconnect me then reconnect. Anyone know why?

I've also tried uninstalling / reinstalling vent, but it still doesn't work.

I did that, but it still didn't work. Apoc told me that I may need a new video/sound card, but I still looked up the instructions on how to install it, and it looks pretty complicated.

have you made sure all your audio/graphics drivers are installed/ up to date

His sound is intregrated as is his video. His in game cuts in and out also so what i gather from the vent forum is that the integrated sound can cause this.

He really needs a good video card because he gets shitty fps..like 10.

wow shit i thought my fps was bad. yeah if ur gettin a new vid card ur gonna spend some money but u dont need a super card to get decent performance. i run a geforce 6600 and it works fine. sound card wise you dont need anything super gamer tech either if u dont wanna spend for it. just talk to some ppl and do research to find out whats gonna work for what u want.

well money is the problem..since i live with a single mom and all..and i play soccer also which i have to pay for some tournaments..depending on if our sponsors pay or not..and i have a gf..and gotta pay stuff for her too..so its tough..but i can usually deal with it..some maps i can play, and some i can't
