Well I've begun desgining my first map. I spent a few hours today sketching it out. It will be a texture map with glass. There are plenty of ways for you to hurt yourself, and quite a few ways to use good tactics. I've taken many things into consideration tactic wise, like lines of fire, etc.

There's always a good line of fire to important spots on my map, but there's glass and other things in the way. For instance there's a direct line of fire to the T spawn but there is boxes in the way...although there is glass under the boxes...etc etc. I've also added certain things like good sniper spots, but these spots have a glass floor that leads to a pungee pit.

This Should make the game interesting. I've also taken into consideration various ways of making the game more equal for each gun I've added special spots for the few main weapon groups to have an advantage.

I've also made it so if you rush, you die. If you use the map to your advantage, you win. If there's a douche sniper killing your whole team, you can make him fall to his death... problem solved. This is not a glass trap, there is way more ground then glass... but my glass is strategically placed Smile
