Multiple Online Clans or Groups

I belong to multiple online societies, but I do something different with each group. For example I only ever play CSS with my Legion Tag. I also play TF2 with no tag, but I do play with the same group of people when I play that game; I have admin with that group and am beloved, just like the baby Jesus. I also play insurgency mod, I have command admin there too, but I only play insurgency on the eGO servers, and only wear that tag in that server, even though they have multiple game types and servers.

So, why am I posting this in the forums? Because I read somewhere in our forms that people should be discouraged to be in other clans etc… My thoughts are who gives a shit, as long as you respect the tag you’re wearing, and the rules of the server you’re in than it’s all good. And hey we don’t have a WOW group, TF2 group, a Garry’s Mod group anyway.

So what’s the point? I like playing CSS in our server and with the members and non-members that frequent our server, and I also like wearing the Legion tag when I play here, after all it is only play, right?

i think it was wearing other tags or not wearing it on our server. or atleast being in other clans in css. ur in groups with people in other games... i think thats ok Wink

it would be like telling some 1 who plays wow he cant be in a guild cause we play css Wink

I don't give a shit how many other games people play and how many other clans people are in in their other games. The problem is that we have a lot of clan members that only wear their tag when they are playing on the server, or even change to another tag when playing on another server. I think that most of these people only wear the tag on our server so that they can be eligible to donate and receive admin privileges. No one gives a shit about clans on this game, people change clans routinely, float around like retards from clan to clan at will, and show no dedication to one clan in general. In other games I've played people stuck with the same clan for years and intense rivalries developed between clans that made the game much more interesting and fun to play. What then happened was that these clans became extremely hard to become a member of, and when someone finally was allowed to join it was a privelege.

We can't even manage to round up 10 people with a weeks notice to have a fucking scrimmage against each other... Nobody bothers to log onto the Ventrilo server... Forum participation is still shitty...

Yes, this is a game and this is for fun, but I have ran clans in every game I've played online for over 10 years, from small clans to a huge clan of around 400 people, and when there is no dedication or the slightest amount of pride shown in belonging to a clan then it becomes very frustrating to the people in charge who spend hours upon hours setting up and maintaining the servers, clan, website, forums, and all the other bullshit that goes along with it.

The only other clan that I don't give a shit if you are in is a CAL clan. CAL clans don't exist to draw a population to their server, and compete on a competitive basis, (which was never the main intention of this clan.) CAL clans also don't wear a tag. If you want to wear another tag, or not wear our tag, then please feel free to leave the clan.

Lastly, we don't have a TF2 clan because TF2 is fucking stupid. I bought that game and played it for 2 days and never played it again, and regret wasting my money on such a worthless piece of shit. We don't have a WoW clan because WoW is a fucking ripoff, and I refuse to buy a game and then pay $15 dollars every month to play the game I already fucking bought, just so I can walk around in a cartoony stupid ass looking world mindlessly killing shit over and over. (Yes, I have played the WoW 30 day trial twice.) Gary's Mod I won't comment on because I have never bothered to play it.

ACE was like that. people asked everyday about it, you werent aloud in unless all members liked you and you were playing on their servers a real lot. this clan has changed since i joined. we used to have great times, i remember it being pretty much all legion members on every night playing and having fun. but people have changed and the server environment has changed. its not the same and its just not as fun as it used to be....

Look at me stirring up the pot, I don't even know if there is a such a thing as a TF2 clan. I suppose what I ment was online gamming communities, but it was late last night when I was typing and couldn't think of what I was trying to say.

I use my son as an example, he belongs to multiple online communities and some of his friends do as well. I don't know all I know is that I am the toughest internet motherfucker online, and if it's go time. Well lets just say I'll internet kick anyones ass.
