Other security minded folks?

Used to be very big into "hacking" and toying with all things telephony. In fact im fairly certain I still have a red and gold box around here somewhere, although i know only the latter has any chance of being useful in these days of digital communications networks. Gave that up years ago, but recently my exploration itch has come back and im starting to scratch it again.

Things have changed one hell of a lot since 1996, but im finding the old technical boots comfy. Been having a blast with wifi networks and sniffing, but of course are always looking to expand my horizons.

Anyone else around here into pentesting at all? I'm using archaic knowledge from years past as i re-learn linux and a variety of languages, and could always use some like-minded folks to bounce ideas off of, etc.

ATM, im approaching the idea how I first started waaaay back in the dark ages of the early 80's, read read read. Any suggestions or help is much appreciated.
